An ecopsychology seminar organised in cooperation with the Ηellenic Ecopsychology Society with Kleio Apostolaki* (ecopsychologist) online for the staff and exercise instructors offering their services to the program.
The seminar included an introduction to ecopsychology to enhance the pleasure of exercising in nature and strengthen motivation for better health and well-being.
*The speaker Κleio G. Apostolaki, was born in Athens and she is currently living and working in Chania, Crete. She studied Psychology with Clinical Psychology at the University of Kent, UK and continued with a Master in Mental Health (M.Sc) at King’s College, University of London, where she specialized in Dynamic and Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy. In 2009 she received her Diploma in Ecopsychology from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. She also studied Dolphin Therapy for children and adults at the Dolphinswim Institute in Austria in collaboration with the Sigmund Freud University in Vienna. She is also a certified Adult Trainer from the Ministry of Education, an EMDR Trauma Therapist and a certified PADI Scuba Diving Instructor.
Since 2002 she has been working as a freelancer in Greece, she has worked at Guy’s Hospital in London, in Turkey and in European programs in Mykonos and Crete. She has participated in many international and national conferences as a speaker, writes in the magazine and daily press and has numerous participations in the radio and television media as an invited expert.She is a member of the Board of Directors of the International Society of Ecopsychology (IES), Switzerland, she was a former President of IES from 2016-2019 and is officially recognized as the representative of IES in Greece with the establishment of the “Hellenic Ecopsychology Society”, which has been active since 2007.
