The final TPM took place in Sardoal and Tomar on the 15th and 16th
of October 2024, hosted by Intermunicipal Community of Médio
Tejo.
The meeting provided an opportunity to review the project’s
accomplishments, challenges, and lessons learned. Participants had
the opportunity to review the final version of the E-Guide and
incorporate the latest changes. Team members reflected on what
worked well and what could be improved in future projects. The final
Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) was essential for finalizing and
discussing project documentation, as well as preparing for pending
tasks (e.g., final reporting) and future activities.
Indeed, in the coming months, the Consortium will have the
opportunity to implement a new Erasmus+ Sport project (“Deep Blue
and Green”) approved by the European Commission, which is a
follow-up to the Blue and Green project.
Thanks to this new project, the Consortium will have the
opportunity to further expand its mission and outreach, promoting
sport and physical activity through ecopsychology.
During the final meeting in Portugal, project partners reflected on
the lessons learned from the Blue and Green project. They also
discussed strategies for maximizing the project’s impact and
ensuring its sustainability.
Participants also had the opportunity to explore cultural and local
natural heritage sites, such as the Holy Week Interpretation Centre
of Sardoal, Quinta de São João Batista, and the Convent of Christ.
Additionally, they experienced various sports activities linked to
ecopsychology. A walk in the Natural Reserve of Paul of Boquilobo,
followed by a yoga session, was offered to all participants.
